I ordered and enjoyed my cheeseburger with fries while my wife ordered and enjoyed her fried shrimp and fries meals. In addition to the great meal and service, my wife and I were amazed by the majestic and scenic view of the Mystic River, and the surrounding shoreline that’s positioned right near the restaurant. We happened to dine at the Sea View Snack Bar on a perfect, warm sunny day and we found the landscape and the river to be breathtaking!!! When visiting Mystic Connecticut, both my wife and I highly recommended that you stop by and dine at the Sea View Snack Bar. “ Great lunch spot with such a beautiful view. The food is what you would expect for a seaside snack shack. With that said, the food we ordered (hot dog and a patty melt) was excellent. Highly recommend for a nice little lunch spot. The boats come in and out of the area. Seagulls weren’t really a bother, but they do warn you to watch out! ”
“ A nice roadside seafood shack. It's nothing fancy but it is good. I always get clams and I am never disappointed. The views from the outside dining is fantastic because it overlooked the water towards town and Old Mystic Seaport. There is a porta potty for public use. Don't go expecting anything fancy and you will not be let down. ”
“ It’s April so maybe not as busy as summer but the roll was delicious, and the onion rings crispy and thin like I prefer. Coleslaw available was a nice touch. “ I went for a walk and stumbled across this cute restaurant. The restaurant is along the Mystic River and halfway point from my hotel to the town Mystic. They have various choices to eat, mostly seafood. I ordered a small cup of their New England clam chowder. It was very delicious, and toasty. Perfect soup to have on a beautiful sunny day as today. It wasn't too creamy or salty. It had a perfect balance. The location of the restaurant was perfect as it had a great view of the river. I noticed alot of townies were pulling in the restaurant. Thats when you know this spot is the right spot to enjoy some delicious seafood and gaze your eyes across the river. ”
